The H.E.P.A. Filter

The H.E.P.A. Filter consists of a high efficiency pleated media to remove particles from the air. The H.E.P.A. filter maintains its efficiency over its one to five year life. It is 95% efficient by particle count at a size of 0.3 microns, which is 1/75,000 of an inch, or 1/300 the diameter of a human hair. It becomes more efficient both above and below the 0.3 micron particle size. The H.E.P.A. Filter requires no cleaning or maintenance to maintain this efficiency. Studies have indicated that H.E.P.A. filters increase in efficiency with use.
